Stunning and superb. This beautiful Lioness is unsigned but attributed to Art Deco sculptor Charles Lemanceau.
A really impressive piece, coming in at just short of half a metre (48cm x 19cm) and in the most incredible green glaze. The glaze seems to be layered, adding depth to the colour, there is a clear, slightly crackled glaze on top that gives the impression she is coated in fine glass.
Excellent as new condition. There are two very minor glaze imperfections we can see, one just under her right flank and another to the base of her tail, also right side.
