Mid Century Faux Bamboo Hall Lantern. French, attributed to Maison Bagues
Just beautiful. As good as it comes and in superb condition. Made from heavy solid brass and gold plated, it has only the most minor of marks/signs of wear to the gilt/plate, really this looks as good as new. This is the only verson of this lamp we have seen to have the original 3 branch candleholders, most having been replaced with a modern, single stem and bulb holder. Also retains the original gilded chain.
